Yksi toive jo kolmannelle Fuerteventuran retkelle oli parantaa pikkukorppikotkakuviani. No ehkä joku otos oli edellisten reissujen saantia parempi, mutta viime kerralla löytämäni “takuuvarma” paikka oli pieni pettymys lähiylilentojen suhteen.

Egyptian Vultures in Canary Islands are of race majorensis. https://canarianegyptianvulture.com/population-monitoring/ gives the population of the race c.60 nesting pairs and around the same amount of gifted or unpaired. Luckily the amount seems to have been raised quite rapidly - about doubled from 2000 to 2020.
